Where city streets meet quiet rows, holding the space between past and present. Fields Between is a hand-constructed wearable basket that exists at the intersection of carrying vessel, body, and sculpture. Made from naturally dyed willow and untanned leather, the piece draws on historical agricultural baskets once used to move between field and home, reimagined at the scale of the human body. Its elongated, open structure rises beyond the basket’s base, allowing the willow rods to extend freely upward. These vertical lines create a sense of growth, movement, and rhythm, echoing harvested fields and standing grasses. Each piece is woven slowly by hand and conceived as a singular object.
