Vaiva Kovieraitė-Trumpė (b. 1985) is a graphic artist based in Šiauliai, Lithuania, whose artistic practice balances between the traces of material memory and subtle visual metaphors. A graduate of Šiauliai University’s printmaking program and a former student in Łódź, she has been actively participating in international residencies, symposiums, and biennials – from Japan to Italy. Since 2012, she has been a member of the printmakers’ association “Graphic i Vast” (Gothenburg, Sweden). An active member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association, she has been awarded several national grants and received the Šiauliai City Art and Culture Prize in 2023. Her works are regularly exhibited both in Lithuania and internationally – from the Mark Rothko Art Centre in Latvia to galleries in France, Italy, and the United States. Kovieraitė’s artistic language stands out for its organic fusion of printmaking traditions with contemporary experimentation, where poetic imagination meets a layered visual vocabulary.
